The effectiveness of a simulator developed to train User Requirements Elicitation: the hospitality case

The results of the experiment realized by eLearning Lab of USI in collaboration with LifeLike, an international company specialized in the  design and development of the behavioural simulators Skillgym, have been published.

The experiment aimed at testing the effectiveness of a simulator specifically developed to train User Requirements Elicitation (URE) skills, i.e. the ability to identify the requirements a website needs to have to satisfy the possible requests of its users. The situation represented in the simulation was related to the hospitality domain: a hotel manager meets a web analyst to discuss the requirements of the hotel website.
